My new Blog!
Looks like the Super Bowl party is on a roll. We are planning on 4:30 at Charing and Scott's. Everyone is bringing a dish and some drinks. We are also going to have a pool going, so there might even be a little money in it for you! Can't wait to see everyone there!

The Meeting that Wasn't
Our January meeting was scheduled for last Friday, but sadly it fell apart. We were meeting at Liz's new house so we could all see how great it is. Unfortunately, the day of the meeting Liz had a TERRIBLE toothache and it was just not possible for her to host a dinner when she was so miserable. We thought of still having it, but Candice was in South Carolina and Missy had to work, so we thought it was best to postpone. We are hoping to all get togther for our next meeting really soon, but the date hasn't been set. I will keep you all posted!
We have all had so much going on these days. Candice is in high swing with her student teaching and interviews for next year. It has been really tough, but it is so exciting. Candice, we know you will get a great school and the perfect job!
Rhi and her new beau Travis have been spending lots of time together and it is going really great! We are hoping to meet him at Super Bowl. Speaking of which, Charing and Scott are having people over for the game, and we are all invited! Should be great!! We will work out the details later.
As for the rest of us, life is crazy but good. Work is crazy, home is crazy...you know you know. We are back to our 130 meetings every Saturday morning, so that is great (great company for breakfast but the scale can be cruel....)
Anyways, I am heading for SIS day so I must run, but really wanted to keep my promise. I will say that I had to go back and read all the old posts on the site the other day due to a request to remove anything that is not appropriate, and let me tell you...I really enjoyed it! Whenever you all are waiting weeks for a new post, you should just go read the old ones and see how great I used to be at posting and all the great stuff we have done! Thats it for now. Have a great weekend!!

Our Little Basketball Star

look at how cute she is in her uniform!! (showing how I am not athletic at all being that what I notice is her outfit...)
And doesn't she look fast and what not?!?!
looks like great form to me!
and she guards...that is also really great....so I assume
Morgan, we might not all be great b-ball players, but we do know one when we see one. We are all so proud of you!!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I promise to post with updates on ZPO life by the end of the week, but for now I am off to dinner. Hope everyone is having a great week!

The Best New Years Eve Party EVER!!

You know how New Years partys almost always kind of disappoint. No matter how much work you put into it, the party just never lives up to what
you feel like a New Years bash should be?? Well, let me tell you this DID NOT happen this year! We had the
best night ever!!Caring and Scott were so wonderful and had the New Years
party at their house. It is so great to do things over there because they have so much room for all of us. They have the perfect party house!
One wonderful thing that helped to make the party perfect was that all seven ZPO's were there! With
our busy schedules and different lives, that commonly is difficult for a big holiday, but we pulled it off to bring in
the new year! The party was actually really big! Everyone seemed to bring a few extra people (very few of which seemed to be pictured...because...well,
we like pictures of ourselves!) But the point being, we had a really good crowd (very important for a new years party). The Kelseys had
gone all out and had tons of great food and of course a never ending supply of any alcohol you can thing of (also
very important for the perfect new years party!)We had some important guests
that are worth mentioning...First off, Josh was in from the war! He had his leave over the holiday so he got to spend
new years with us. It was so wonderful to see him home safe and sound! He looks so grown up! We also got to meet
Gunner for the first time! He is Davis and Candice's new German Shepherd puppy. He is just about the cutest
thing I have ever seen. Between Gunner, Ebony and Chach, Carter was very entertained!!The party rolled into the early morning with
people drinking, laughing...and I am pretty sure there was even some dancing going on! Nick and I headed for home around 4am and
still left a handful of people sitting around in the garage laughing and talking. Like I said...the best new years party ever!!

Happy New Year ZPO...and other things
A quick update on a couple of other things....
Our little genius Missy made straight A's! Missy, we are all so proud of you! Keep up the great work!
Are you ready for this one....Morgan made the HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL TEAM!!!!!!! Let me remind you that she is in the seventh grade. AMAZING!! Morgan, we are so proud! We can't wait to see you in the old red and black!
I fixed the link to the wedding pictures on the last post. My bad. I entered it in wrong. Anyways, it now works perfectly and you can take a look at the wedding pic's whenever you like!
I will also add that the ZPO's all had a great Christmas (maybe except for Rhi who spend a large chunk of it looking for her cat..but he was found!!) Candice and Davis have a new dog, Rhi has a new iRiver, Boo has a new kitchenaid, Missy has a new laptop, I have a new coat and a new coach (plus a new Wii I am completely addicted too), Liz has a new house, and Charing has a new wedding ring(plus starting today an empty house...which might be worth more)! Not bad at all!! We all missed our families that couldn't be with us, but all in all it was a perfect rainy Christmas! That's about it for now. I am off to work!

Congratulations are in Order!!

First is our Candice (oh, Candice you might be wondering where I found this picture of you...Facebook my friend. There were others...I will find time to use them later!) Candice got straight A's her very first semester of Grad school! You are amazing and we are all really proud of how hard you have worked! Enjoy your break!
Secondly, our junior member Morgan, who plays for her schools basketball team, won the city championship! How exciting!! They got to cut down the net and everything. Morgan, we so wish we could have all been there to cheer you on! We are so proud of our little athlete!
***edit***Thanks Liz! She pointed out that I forgot to mention that Morgan (as a SEVENTH GRADER!!!) was contacted by the Dunbar basketball team to come and try out! Way to go Morgan!!***

Merry Christmas ZPO!!

Well, the holidays are coming fast, so last weekend
we had our annual Christmas party! We decided that rather than have a ZPO Christmas and a friend Christmas, we could just combine the two and have a huge party with a wonderful Christmas dinner and awesome presents!
Charing and Scott were so nice and said that they would host the party at their house. We all love it there and there is so much room. You all
are the best! Anyways, we all made food and Charing and Scott set up a huge table (or set of tables) for all 15 people (plus the five kids!) in their living room. This did mean
moving the couch and chairs into the kitchen, but that worked out wonderfully! We all had comfortable places to sit all night. We had tons of great food. Charing made a turkey,
dressing and gravy and we all brought the good old Christmas side dishes and deserts...Including Boo's delicious hamburger pie!(okay, it was really heavenly apple pie that for some
reason looked to everyone like it had hamburger on top rather that the cinnamon sugar topping that it really was) Everything was great!Candice had a great idea to change
up the drawing of names so that all the girls drew guy names and all the guys drew girls names. It was so great! It made the gift exchange so much fun. Everyone really did
great and we all got great gifts! After the dinner, the presents and the deserts, the party really got started. In order to get into the holiday spirit there were quite a
few shots taken. The pictures really don't show much of this (or about half the people in attendance for some reason) but it was really so much fun! was basically the best Christmas party ever!
Carter says we can come back and party at his house any time!!

Welcome to the Family!!

Well, the Kelseys went to New York for the week of Thanksgiving...and they came home with a new family member! Meet Chach, their new cocka-poo that they got from Charing's godmother. She is so sweet! Ebony almost likes her and Carter LOVES her!
Speaking of Carter...he is officially walking!! You of course cannot catch him on video because he will drop to the floor and start to crawl as soon as a camera comes out, but if you look away he walks right across the room! Amazing. Hopefully he will do it for all of us at the Christmas party on Saturday!

Happy Double Birhtday!!!
What are the odds that two of our ZPO's would have the EXACT same birthday?? Well, it is true! Our wonderful girls Liz and Rhi both have birthdays today! We celebrated at the last ZPO meeting because Boo and I were both out of town this weekend, but we love you all so much and hope you had a perfect day! Happy birthday girls!!
