In The Mail!!

I am so happy to report that both Boo and Rhiannon have shipped their National Boards boxes and they are both guaranteed to be there by today (a tight squeeze for Boo, but no worries...it will get there!). It is now officially out of their hands! Girls, I am sure you did great and we are all so proud of you for getting them done! I know it has been really hard, but it will be so worth it in the end. Now you two need to relax and enjoy spring break!

Totally off the subject, but clearly worthy of being mentioned...today is Nick's 25th Birthday! Happy birthday baby. The ZPO's love you!!

A New Home!

There has been so much going on with the ZPO's as of late, and I have had a really hard time keeping up with the site! I am going to try to post a few things here and there until we get caught up. First on the list....Liz and Cory are buying a new home! Not just any home, mind you, but my parents home. We are all so excited!

My parents had decided a little while back to move to the farm in Danville, but the idea of selling the family home was always really hard. Well, we are so lucky to have found such a wonderful solution! Liz and Cory have been wanting to move to get a yard for Scout and more room for Wes. They are definently a little cramped in the town house! Anyways, Liz and Cory thought my parents house would be perfect for their family. It makes me so happy to think of Wes playing in the room under the stairs or having a swing set in the back yard. It is such a wonderful house on one of the best streets in the world. Our home is full of such wonderful memories, how great it gets to stay in the family and they get to fill it with memories of their own!

Wes cannot wait to move into his new room!! (okay, this is totally stolen from Liz's site, but it is the cutest picture I have ever seen...I couldn't resist!)

Lunch and a Movie

Hello all! So sorry it has taken me so long to get post up about our last meeting, but I have just been so crazy at work! Everything is just so up in the air with my job and the company...Enough to drive a girl mad!!!

Anyways, our meeting for March was a couple of weekends ago and it was so great!! We met for lunch at Ruby Tuesdays and had such a blast. There was so much going on with everyone and so much catching up to do! We ate great food, great conversation and laughed through the entire lunch!

After lunch we went over to Joseph Beth's to get baby toy's and gifts. Who knew the ZPO's could find so much to buy in the kids department of a bookstore!

Once we wiped Joe B's clean of all stock we were off to a movie at Lexington Greens. We saw Failure to Launch, which was a great movie to see with the girls! It was so cute and funny. We all really enjoyed it. The entire day so fun!

Black Friday

We had some bad news for one of our ZPO families yesterday. I am sad to report that Boo's husband Chris is going to be let go from our lab due to the takeover. It is so terrible at work right now. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is getting let go. Ryan has been offered a position in the Louisville lab, as have a couple of other of the people, but they are shutting down most departments and there are just aren't places to put everyone.

Amazingly enough my department is staying. Of the entire lab and all the scientists (about 20) mine seems to be the only one that is sticking around (2-3 of of us will have a job). They are putting us on a trial run for the next three to six months and then making a decision if we are viable. Great. I think we will be kept, but who knows. Thank God the company wasn't already doing Biomonitoring in Louisville.

Anyways, I wanted to update everyone, and let Boo and Chris know we are all thinking about you guys and that everything will be okay really soon! Chris is taking his exit exam for his massage therapy and can start to look for a job in his field in the next several weeks.

All Is Well

Just a quick update to let everyone know that Boo's surgery went great and she is now home and resting as much as possible. Thanks so much Charing for bring dinner over to them last night! I know they really appreciated it!! The doc's said she will be really sore for the next week or two, but that it will be worth it in the end! Boo, just get lots of sleep and watch tons of Sex in the City and Dawsons Creek. The time will fly!!

On a totally different note, I am happy to report that the Volvo is gone forever! Thats right. We sold it last night at the auction for big bucks....$450. We are on the hunt for a new(er) car and I could not be more excited about it!! Well, I am now off to work. Hoep everyone has a great day!

Get Well Soon!!

Our sweet and spunky Boo is going under the knife for the first time in her life today! Thats right, those damn tonsil's have haunted another ZPO, and so we have no choice but to get them removed. Boo, we all know you are scared, but you will be fine! We are all thinking about you and we cannot wait for you to get the stupid things out of your body so you feel better!

I have a great picture to post with this....but of course blogger is giving me problems and I have to get to work. I will try to add it later!

Also, I have not forgotten the post about our last meeting...I promise it will be up soon!

Today Is the Day!

That's right folks...today is the March meeting of ZPO! We are meeting for lunch at Ruby Tuesday's at 11:30, then off the see Failure to Launch. I should have pic's and a review up in the next day or two!

Last night several of the ZPO's went down to the Dame to see Chris Cprek, Candice and Nick's brother, play in his band. They are actually developing a following, have a record deal, and are going on tour over the entire summer.....maybe even to Europe! Amazing to me. Anyways, Candice, Rhi, Boo, Chris, Nick and I enjoyed the night and the band. Well, okay so the band was not really our style, but there is no doubt they are good in their own way, and Chris is awesome on electronics....that is what he plays...he did build his own instrument....oh, those Cpreks. It is amazing.

Okay, so I am off to shower for our lunch date, but I first thought you might like to see some baby pictures! As you know, Charing is keeping both of the boy's for the month of March. How jealous am I?
The boy's chillin' in the pack and play. Wes is pumped, but Carter looks a little taken aback by having his picture taken in his pj's!
The boy's in their matching outfits. They both are a little worried this could be a new trend....I dont think there is any doubt!Wes and his Mama hanging out at home

Wes thinks it is a good idea to do lunch and a movie this month, but if we are up for dancing in April, he's IN!

March Meeting is Set!

Looks like we have the plans for this months meeting! Assuming nothing changes we are meeting this Saturday around noon for lunch and a movie. A girl movie is, of course, in order, so we are planning on seeing Failure to Launch. I am so excited! We will have more details about exact times and what not really soon!

As a special add on to this post, I have new pictures of Wes! How adorable is he?

Long Time No Post!

Hello, hello everyone! So sorry I have fallen off the posting wagon over the past week or so. I have been so overwhelmed with wedding planning that the website has moved to the back burner...way back, like in someone else's kitchen. Anyways, I thought I would update on my lunch about what has been going on as of late!

Liz is officially back at work! She went back last Wednesday and Charing has been keeping baby Wesley. Wes and Carter are getting along great and I am sure Liz is enjoying getting into her new routine.

There was a lot of family in town this weekend. We seem to have cousin Matt and Cory's family on the same schedule because they were both in again this weekend. Both visits went great!

Candice is eagerly anticipating spring break next week, and Missy is starting school the beginning of May (I think). I am sure Boo and Rhi are working hard on their National Boards as well....

There is more going on, but I have about five minutes of lunch left and I need to run...this is not the best post, but I will be damned if I erase it when I finally got around to writing something! Maybe some Pictures will help!
