ZPO Out on the Town!

Well, Saturday night was one long and wonderful night! We started the evening with Boo, Liz and I going out the the Olive Garden for dinner. We had a great meal, and did tons of laughing and catching up. Once dinner was done we headed over to pick up Rhiannon. We were very nearly in a terrible accident, but thanks to Boo's eagle eye's and Liz's quick reactions, we were not hit by the truck that ran the stop sign. I wish I could have also taken part in the accident prevention...but in reality I was completely uninvolved in the back seat!

Once we had Rhi we headed down to Greek Sing to see Candice and the Kappa Delta's shake their stuff. Their theme was Bad Girls and then entire show was very cute. I am sad to report that they did not win, but they did put up a heck of a fight. I did not get the show taped, but I am hoping to get a copy and get it up on the site later.

After dinner we were off to Yesterdays for drinks and to say happy birthday to one of Liz and Cory's friends. Charing was able to come out for a quick drink with us, and that was so exciting! We all sat around laughing and talking for about an hour.

Around eleven thirty we decided it was time to head out to the Blue Moon. Charing headed for home, but the rest of us braved the cold (esp. Candice seeing as how she did not have on a coat) to continue the night of fun. When we got the the club, there was a line. We could not have any of that. Boo jumped the line to ask if we could go on in. He told us to wait five minutes, so once they were up boo went straight back to the guy, let him know we were ready and they let the five of us on in! How great. Once we were inside we talked to Whitney and Colleen and found out they were in VIP. Thank goodness because we were actually able to be at a table and enjoy the night. Once we got upstairs, we also found Candice's best friend Lauren. How amazing! We had a drink then went down stairs to dance for a while. We had so much fun! We managed to stuff the entire evening full of great events and we had such a great time!

February Meeting is Here!

Okay, so I am a little late on posting this, and I am thinking most of the ZPO's are going to get this after the meeting, but I don't really care. Our meeting this month is tonight. That's right...tonight. Boo, Liz and I are off to dinner here in about ten minutes, then headed down town to see little Miss Candice dance her ass off in Greek Sing. We are planning on bringing the video camera, so I am going to try to get the dance up on the site. Very excited about that. After Greek Sing, we are heading down to Buddy's to meet up with Rhi, Whit, Colleen, and maybe Charing (It is Zack's B-day, so she might not make it. Sadly, Missy is working tonight and tomorrow morning, so she cannot come either.). We are planning on a few drinks there, and then we are off to the Moon for a night of dancing. Sounds like a great night to me! I am sure I will have pictures and details of the night up on the site in a few days!

On a different note, I promised long ago to post a new picture of Carter, and I have not yet gotten to it. Well my friends, it is now time! Enjoy.

I have more good pic's, but it is time for me to go to eat! I will post more soon!

Boo and Wesley's Day of Fun!

I had the honor of babysitting baby Wes yesterday while Liz went out with her mom for a spa day! We had the best time ever! He was wearing the cutest Winnie the Pooh outfit with Pooh booties! How adorable!!! He looked gorgeous, as always! After Liz departed we ate a delicious bottle, okay he ate and I fed, but details, details! Then we had some tummy time, which was very fun for both of us.

Rhiannon came over to visit and between the two of us, Wes was held, rocked and talked to for over an hour! By then he was a bit tired and he fell asleep, which was perfect because it was time for me to make lunch for our next visitor, Sarah!!

Sarah and I quickly ate our lunch and then it was playtime! We talked and tickled, laughed and loved! Wes was smiling nonstop and he really wanted to giggle (because lets face it, Sarah and I were hilarious acting so ridiculously!) but he wants his momma to hear his first laugh so he held it in. We took some fabulous pictures, as you can see!

Sarah had to head back to work so it was just Wesley and me again. We played some more with his Care Bear and his cool caterpillar that plays, sings and counts (Wes is going to be a genius!) and then it was time for his lunch! He ate some more scrumptious milk and dosed off into a happy slumber.

Then his mommy and Mimi came to pick him up. They stayed and visited a little while and it was clear that Wes missed his mom because he could not stop staring at her and smiling. It was pretty much the best day ever and I cannot wait to baby-sit again!!

Okay, so I am totally stealing this from Whitney's site, but I thought it was fun and everyone would find it educational! It is the definitions of all of the ZPO's names...according to this strange site. I have to say I am really jealous of Liz's! Anyways, hope you enjoy what I find to post when I am bored!

Trouble On Valentines Day

So much for a day of love and romance. A couple of the ZPO's had a little trouble with the old Valentines Day. First off, Charing was having some people over last night when the kids got just a little to rowdy in the basement. You guessed it. Zack was goofing around around (we assume with Morgan due to her disappearing act afterwards) and hit his head on the couch. I know you are most likely thinking, "well, at least it was the couch, I mean...they are padded and what not" but oh no. There was a sign of impact....A cut and a huge knot. So Charing packed him up and headed for the ER. That's right my friends...the ER on Valentines day. No good at all. They were there for hours, had to get an X-ray, stitches and Charing was to keep her eye out for signs of a concussion. A little scary.

Nick and I also had a sick baby at home. Our sweet girl Ellie was not feeling well at all. She could not get up on the couch or the bed. She would not lay down or move much at all. She was so pitiful! She wouldn't eat or go out....so, when she was not better this morning we headed out the the vet. They found two things 1. she has gas. That's right folks. I was a little embarrassed that I had missed work and rushed her to the vet for gas, but at that point what was I going to do. They also found that she has stage one hip displacia. This is really worrisome because she is only four years old. We now have pain medication for her and we will be watching it closely. There was no way for them to say at this point if it was the gas or her hips that were causing her problems. Poor baby girl!

I have not talked to all of the ZPO's, but I really hope that the rest of the Valentines Day's went off without a hitch! I think we are planning on the next meeting just being our trip to Greek Sing and then out afterwards. I know that not everyone will be able to make it, but we will just plan on getting together in early March as well. Does this work for everyone?

Happy Valentines Day ZPO!

Hello my beautiful ZPO's. Today is the good old day of love and I just wanted to take a second to tell everyone Happy Valentines Day. I hope that everyone has a great day, eats lots of candy (is that supposed to be Easter....am I the only one who ties candy to valentines day?) and has a good time! I love you all!

An Exciting Weekend

So I basically had a fantastic weekend. I thought that it was important for all of you to know what happened. First, Friday night me and Stephanie went to Louisville and hung out at this bar called Flannagan's with two KD alumni, Mary and Kellee. Guess who else was there. Are you guessing? You'll never get it... Okay-----Derek Jeter of the NY Yankees. Oh yes. However, since I'm not a big slut bag, stop laughing, I did not go up and flirt with him. There was no need because as I walked out of the bathroom to get a glimpse we made eye contact, I smiled, he returned the smile, and then I went back to my table. Derek and I had what I proclaim to be a moment. That was enough for me. We hung out with my friend Davis and his buddy Matt. It got kind of cozy too.

Last night was v
ery exciting. Again Stephanie and I were together and met up with our two friends Taylor and Brent. Our favorite bartender from many posts ago was there and mixed several tasty treats for us to enjoy. The Sexual Disaster Quartet played. They were a super rocking jazz/blues band. We should all definitely go the next time they play somewhere. I'll throw it out there as a ZPO monthly event. The night was very fun and exciting. Unfortunately I heard some of the weirdest pickup lines possible. Such as "Do you like my costume?" "Hi." "You look good tonight. Like a slut." Riiiiight. My brother Chris also came over for a second to say hey since he was watching another show around the corner. In response to me telling him the last pick up line he kicked in to older bro mode and said, "Do I need to go in there and take care of him? Because I will. And I've got a bunch of guys right around the corner." It was sweet. Taking the good and the bad it was a super fab night and won't have changed a thing!!

The Missing Post

For some strange reason a post that I did a few days ago seems to have completely disappeared. Odd. Basically, it wished Candice and Nick's step mom the quickest recovery ever from her surgery and treatments for breast cancer. All the ZPO's are keeping Mary and the entire family in their thoughts and prayers right now. Here is a great picture of Mary and Victoria from the Senior dance.

As Cute As They Come!

Here are a few recent pictures of Wes that I just could not help but post. Hope you all enjoy them!

Seriously....could he (and his Mama) be any cuter? I really think not. he is getting so big!

On another note, the 130 meeting is tonight at Boo's. Everyone is welcome to come for our mid-week weigh in. Should be fun! Also, there is a new picture of Carter that will also be up soon (relatively speaking...a day or two) so keep your eyes open!

Super Bowl!

Sunday was the Super Bowl and Boo and Chris had a great party! We all got together and enjoyed the game and ate great food. Liz and Cory brought a little keg of WI beer...but according to Cory it was nowhere close to right. Oh well. The rest of the boys didn't seem to mind it!

Boo made wonderful potato soup, Rhi brought her taco dip and Liz made these great football woopies...sounds strange but they were actually just double doozy cookies....yummmmm. At halftime Liz and I went to steal Wes from his Mimi and Granddaddy and we got to spend the rest of the night with him. He is basically the cutest thing ever. Rhi had her camera and there are pictures, but we have to wait to get them developed to get them up here. Someday they will make it!

Anyways, we all had a great time and enjoyed the game, even though it seemed to be riddled with bad calls and apparently ABC never gave poor Seattle a chance!

This months ZPO meeting still needs to be put together. It kind of looks like all the Weekends are booked, so we might be doing another weekday meeting. Any idea's? We do have Greek Sing coming up in a couple of weeks and I think we are planning to go out afterwards for anyone who wants to come!

Poor Missy

Our sweet little Missy has been terribly sick over the past several days. The sickness seemed to strike Friday night/Saturday morning and is just starting to get better today. She was at the doctor for the last two days getting CAT scan's and what not. They found that she had an inflamed appendix, but that it was not large enough to call Appendicitis. Maybe it was a cyst, maybe it was just a bug. All we know is she has felt like crap! Anyways, the ZPO's are all thinking of you Missy and hope you are back to your old self really soon!

A quick correction about the blood drive from Candice-It actually runs from February 6-11 and the 13-18. You can drop by anytime and donate, just tell them you are there for Candice. If she gets enough people, she will get some big prize(like money) plus ton's of glory at work. Try to go if you can!
