Wedding Pictures!!

Well, I thought you all would like a link to all of the wedding pictures from the photographer. Let me first warn you that we are talking about A LOT of pictures here. This is every picture he took, and they really are not in any order. Our album is way better, so next time you are over you should look at it! Anyways, I know all of the old of town people would still like to see the pics, so HERE you go! If there are any you just must have you can order from this pages too!

Congratulations are in Order!!

Well, we have a couple of ZPO girls that have had some really great stuff going on and need a pat on the back!

First is our Candice (oh, Candice you might be wondering where I found this picture of you...Facebook my friend. There were others...I will find time to use them later!) Candice got straight A's her very first semester of Grad school! You are amazing and we are all really proud of how hard you have worked! Enjoy your break!

Secondly, our junior member Morgan, who plays for her schools basketball team, won the city championship! How exciting!! They got to cut down the net and everything. Morgan, we so wish we could have all been there to cheer you on! We are so proud of our little athlete!

***edit***Thanks Liz! She pointed out that I forgot to mention that Morgan (as a SEVENTH GRADER!!!) was contacted by the Dunbar basketball team to come and try out! Way to go Morgan!!***

Merry Christmas ZPO!!

Well, the holidays are coming fast, so last weekend we had our annual Christmas party! We decided that rather than have a ZPO Christmas and a friend Christmas, we could just combine the two and have a huge party with a wonderful Christmas dinner and awesome presents!

Charing and Scott were so nice and said that they would host the party at their house. We all love it there and there is so much room. You all are the best! Anyways, we all made food and Charing and Scott set up a huge table (or set of tables) for all 15 people (plus the five kids!) in their living room. This did mean moving the couch and chairs into the kitchen, but that worked out wonderfully! We all had comfortable places to sit all night.

We had tons of great food. Charing made a turkey, dressing and gravy and we all brought the good old Christmas side dishes and deserts...Including Boo's delicious hamburger pie!(okay, it was really heavenly apple pie that for some reason looked to everyone like it had hamburger on top rather that the cinnamon sugar topping that it really was) Everything was great!

Candice had a great idea to change up the drawing of names so that all the girls drew guy names and all the guys drew girls names. It was so great! It made the gift exchange so much fun. Everyone really did great and we all got great gifts!

After the dinner, the presents and the deserts, the party really got started. In order to get into the holiday spirit there were quite a few shots taken. The pictures really don't show much of this (or about half the people in attendance for some reason) but it was really so much fun! was basically the best Christmas party ever!

Carter says we can come back and party at his house any time!!

Welcome to the Family!!

Well, the Kelseys went to New York for the week of Thanksgiving...and they came home with a new family member! Meet Chach, their new cocka-poo that they got from Charing's godmother. She is so sweet! Ebony almost likes her and Carter LOVES her!

Speaking of Carter...he is officially walking!! You of course cannot catch him on video because he will drop to the floor and start to crawl as soon as a camera comes out, but if you look away he walks right across the room! Amazing. Hopefully he will do it for all of us at the Christmas party on Saturday!

Happy Double Birhtday!!!

What are the odds that two of our ZPO's would have the EXACT same birthday?? Well, it is true! Our wonderful girls Liz and Rhi both have birthdays today! We celebrated at the last ZPO meeting because Boo and I were both out of town this weekend, but we love you all so much and hope you had a perfect day! Happy birthday girls!!

The Perfect Day

I know you all have been waiting for this post for a long time and maybe thought it was never coming, but I just had to find a way to get all the pictures on here! I made a video, and I really hope you all enjoy it(It may take a few seconds after you hit play to get started. There is music to it as well, so you know...turn on your speakers). I will be getting the professional pictures back tomorrow! For the out of town family I think I will have a link to the proofs I can send you. As for the video, it is the snapshots I have collected from you all. Thanks for taking such great pictures!

Nick and I had the perfect wedding. I know that every bride may think that, but for us, it was the perfect day. We were so lucky. The weather was beautiful. All of the leaves were changing and the sun was out. Truly beautiful. We were surrounded by our family and friends. So many people traveled so far to be there with us. It means so much. The ceremony was wonderful. The reception was amazing. Spindletop, the dinner, the cake, it was all just perfect. My husband even danced!

I don't know how to write in words how my parents gave me my absolute dream...my perfect perfect day to start the rest of my life with the love of my life. Thank you all for being there with us, for helping to make it the best day of our lives. It wouldn't have been possible with out you all there, laughing, dancing, enjoying with us our perfect day.

Happy Thanksgiving ZPO!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We have had an amazing year full of ups and downs, loves and heart aches. It is funny to even think back to a year ago(I worked at UK, our boys were newborns, Candice was about to start her last semester, Missy was thinking about school, Boo and Rhi thought they had a world of time on their National Boards...). I guess there is a lot I could write about how much has happened this year, but I think the most important thing to say is thank God that through all of our life changes, and through day to day life, we have stayed together. Life would be so much harder without you all. You all bring so much joy to my life. Thank you for always being there, for always making time, for knowing it is important to stay close and for not letting the year slip by and wondering why we didn't make the time. I love you all. Thanks for everything!!

A ZPO in November!

Look at me, posting before work and everything! I am really proud. Okay, so I have been using my lunch break to search for a very illusive gift and have therefore not been able to get my posting done. This seemed like a good time!

Well, this month ZPO finally got back on track with our monthly meeting. We have been having meetings each month, they have just been at showers, or bridal luncheons or whatever....not just us alone hanging out like the old days! This past Friday we went back. We all met up at Charings after work for some great Chinese food and even better conversation. It was so wonderful to just hang out! We did miss Candice who had her Praxis exam Saturday morning, so she was up all night studying rather than sitting around, drinking a couple of bottles of wine and catching up. We missed you!!

Since Rhiannon and Liz's birthday are both right around the corner, we turned the ZPO into their birthday party! Boo and I will be out of town for the real birthday and we didn't want to just ignore it (Of course!!). Anyways, they got some really great stuff and it was wonderful. Charing got wonderful deserts including a to die for pumpkin cheese cake...mmmm.

When Charing and I went to pick up the Chinese we drop Morgan off at a birthday party....it wasn't until we pulled up that we found out it was her first boy girl party!! How exciting! Anyways, the entire night was a huge success! We got to see each other, Wes and Carter were perfect, we had birthday presents....I don't think Friday nights get much better! There were pictures taken, which some can be seen over at Liz's site, but I didn't bring my camera because it is still full of Honeymoon pics and I wanted to go ahead and get the new post up! I gotta get in the shower. Happy Almost Turkey Day!!!

Happy First Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday baby boy!! It is hard to believe that a year has already flown by. We all love you so much and are so proud of you. It is amazing how far we have come from this day last year, when there was so much fear for you and your mama. What a big boy you are now. We love you baby. Happy Birthday!!

Cyber Sunday with the WWE

Yep...you all read that title right. Some of the ZPO's took a trip up to Cincinnati in order to give Morgan the best Birthday present EVER! So, you all might not know this, but Morgan is a BIG fan of the WWE. Seeing as how she had a very important birthday back a few weeks ago (13...now a teenager!) Boo came up with a Brilliant plan to take her to see her hero John Cena LIVE! I have to admit, I was questionable at first, but I knew Morgan would want to go, so I was in!

Whenever someone is going to something like WWE, you have to do it right, I mean, why go if you aren't going to make posters and paint shirts, right? So that is what we did. I think it freaked Charing out at first, but once she saw we had this down to a science, she thought it was pretty great. So our shirts said I love the WWE (with the WWE symbol) and the posters were "Cryme Tyme In Cincinnati" and "John Cena's my Daddy", which was so cute when Morgan held it up! The guys behind us did mention that if John Cena was there Daddy they would hope for better seats, but whatever.

In all honesty our seats were really great! We were all kind of shocked (except Morgan of course) at how many people came to this thing! I mean, it was SOLD OUT! That's right, that many people went out on a Sunday night for some wrestling! IT was on PayPerView, so it's big!

Before the show we ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and besides the strange looks we got for all being dressed alike, it was wonderful! The entire night was wonderful. There were some crazy things happening in the ring though....I mean the refs totally cheated and DX lost. It was terrible! Then in the Champion of Champions fight John Cena was about to kick ass when who showed up...KFED!!! That's right! We always knew our paths would cross someday! We were even talking about it at dinner and then there he was to help some other stupid guy cheat and he hit John Cena in the face with his title belt! SHOCKING!!! Stupid Kfed. Looks like there is going to be a match between Kfed and John Cena on new years day....we might have to watch it with Morgan...you know...cuz she likes it...not because I am interested or anything...

Surprise!!!!

Better late than never, right??? Poor little Carter had his birthday taken over by my wedding, but we were not just going to let it slip by without letting him know how much we love him! Last Saturday me, Boo and Rhi decided to throw him a surprise birthday party at our weekly 130 meeting!

Not only was Carter shocked, but we took the entire Kelsey family by surprise when we rolled in with a balloon, gifts and of course a birthday cake...That's right, it was nine in the morning, but that is the best time to take someone off guard!

Boo and I got carter a scooter and a cell phone and Rhi got him a land line...the boy will never have a hard time getting a hold of anybody!

Clearly he loved opening his gifts!

Carter says he has places to go and calls to make...He is now a baby on the go!

After presents we sang and let him blow out his candle (with a little help)

thank he got to destroy some cake!

Carter wants to know (a) why I didn't ask for help in taking our picture and decided the self portrait was the way to go and (b) why in the hell I am making him take a picture when clearly he has new stuff to play with

that's better! Carter says he is very busy and important.

This weekend we also had Wes's 1st birthday party! It was really great. Liz did a post about it over at her site. You can get to it here. We have a ZPO meeting this Friday at Charing's house, then Thanksgiving is the next weekend! Time is flying by! that's it for now, I gotta get back to work. I have a few other posts in storage including our trip to the WWE and wedding pictures, so I will try to get some up soon...but no promises!

Happy Halloween!!!(...just a bit late)

I know this post is a bit late but I was wanting to get a couple of pictures pulled together first. I hope all of the ZPO's (and of course our other faithful readers) had a wonderful Halloween! We actually did not have the annual Halloween party this year due to someone having some huge event the weekend before....sorry! We will get back to it next year for sure!

Just because the ZPO's didn't dress up doesn't mean we don't have some great Halloween pictures to post! Carter wants to know why everyone is looking at him...

But Wes doesn't care as long as he brings in a bunch of candy!

Zack was the only one of the older Kelseys to make it out to trick or treat...

But Carter was pumped about that because he got to share the candy!

Oh yeah...I have one more pic to show you! Boo had her annual Beast and Bug Ball at school the week before Halloween. Once Charing and I found out what she was dressing up as there was no way we weren't breaking out last years costume and stopping by for a picture! Basically the funniest thing I have ever seen!

I'm Back!!

Hello all! I am running out the door to work, but wanted to drop into the old site to say hi and tell everyone that I have full intentions of getting back on the blogging ban wagon now that the wedding has passed and I am officially Mrs. Cprek! Just to prove I am not worthless, I thought I would give you a couple of pictures...just a couple though...no need to overwhelm!

Here is our big boy on his 1st Birthday!! Can you all believe he is already one! Carter, I owe you a way better birthday post than this, but I didn't want to not mention it, so this is a start. Baby, we love you so much and cannot remember life before you! Happy Birthday!!

Whats that?? You all want a wedding picture too? Well, to be honest I don't really have many yet. I have lots of promises of pictures, but very few have made it to my email. I have this one I will leave you with thanks to Mary. I will have more up and an entire rundown of the wedding up...you know...soon. I will say that you all are the best friends a girl could ask for. Thank you so much for being a part of the best day of my life!

Here is one of us at the rehearsal Dinner just for fun (and because it is really a cute picture) I know there are people out there who have good pictures of my beautiful bridesmaids, one close one of me and my husband, maybe one of my adorable matching ring bearers....just pass them on to me and I will put a post together!

10 Years...Has It Been That Long??

Jennifer, Chris, Patrick, and I attended our 10 year class reunion on Saturday. It is hard to believe that we graduated from the goold old Lafayette High School 10 years ago. We had a really good time, even thought there were a few tense moments. We were of course dressed in our cutest and as we arrived we saw several people there in JEANS...seriously we were ready to leave immmediately but our fears were laid to rest as we got inside and realized that the majority of the people were as dressy as we were...whew! Clealry the attire one wears is the most important aspect of the night. When we got there is was amazing how some people really hadn't changed at all...and how many recognized us even before they saw our name tags. Sadly we did not win any of the door prizes. We visited, drank and that's right I even got pulled onto the dance floor! We saw a lot of old friends...glimpsed our repsective arch enemies (luckily we did not have to speak to them), and took several walks down memory lane.Overall we had a good time...many people were surpsrised that Jenn and Chris were married AWWWWWWW, and one person even told me that I was "smoking hot in fourth grade and I was still smoking hot today" Talk about a confidence booster. It was nice to see what everyone was doing and look back on our years at LHS... What will the 20 year reunion bring? Go Generals!

Our Papa

This is so difficult to write, but then seems wrong to ignore. Our dear sweet wonderful Papa passed away yesterday. He was at UK surrounded by his wife and children. We all love him so much and will miss him everyday. Papa, thank you so much for all you taught us, for raising such wonderful independent and caring children and grandchildren. Thank you for the pride you always had in us and your unconditional love for us. We will miss you so.

Remember Me???

Oh hello my wonderful internet family...Who happens to also pretty much be my real family and the family of my friends...Whatever...I have missed you all! I am sure you all have decided that I no longer exist, but this is not true! No, I have just fallen into the deep dark abyss that seems to accompany all brides. I must admit this post would not even be happening if I was not on a couple of Lortabs and home sick from work with my endometriosis. Seeing as how I really could not stand up straight, I decided to take the day.

There are so many things to tell you all...So much has happened...So many great posts have come and gone. The times that I usually would have run to my computer to send out a quick post now just goes by as a though..."Oh, that would be funny on the site...". I will try to catch a couple of them. I do promise that some day we will have a post up from the shower at Charings, Scott's 40th b-day and Charing and Boo's B-day party...you never know, I might even get one up today. Especially since they wont have many pictures because Charings wicked evil computer has deleted all (ALLLLLLLL) of her precious pictures...EVEN FROM HER MEMORY CARD!!!! We do hold out a candle of faith that if people can find old sent emails from five years ago that are long since deleted from some evil criminal, that they can surely find some pictures for our wonderful Charing! If anyone has any ideas, please send them our way. Charing and I did already think of the recycling bin...but we aren't so great with computers so that was about all we got...except for Charing sitting at her computer desk yelling "WHY?!?!?!?"... Apparently it wouldn't tell her.

So anyways, beyond the wedding, we have had some other good reasons for no posts. Many of the ZPO's have been a little under the weather as of late. I mean, when Liz looks like this...

And Rhi looks like this...

You could say we have had some bad luck. Plus Boo and I BOTH came down with shingles...who ever even heard of two people getting this at the same time?!?!?! That's right. See...now aren't these good reasons to not have new posts up?

Okay, enough wining. I will say the wedding is coming along really well. I am of course panicked and stressed, but really our timeline looks good. I am still collecting pictures for the photo montage and guest book, so if you all have any good ones, please pass them on to me ASAP!

Charing is off to Vermont today to help her sister and her family move into their new home. We hope you and Carter have a great trip. We will miss you! Thats it for now folks. I am off to take a nap. I really will try to post more later!

Happy Birthday Boo!!!!

Really important people must be born in September!! Today is our dear sweet Boo's Birthday! Boo, you are the best big sister, cousin and friend any of us could ask for. We love you and hope you have a perfect birthday!!!
