A Meeting in Spring!
You know those perfect evenings in spring when it is just the right temperature to be outside and there are no bugs to bother you. The perfect spring nights to finally be able to sit outside again and enjoy the weather. Well, let me tell you that Friday night was one of those nights!
The ZPO's had their April meeting at Charings house, and we spent the first hour hanging out on the patio, having some wine and snacks and loving the spring! It was great to see everyone and catch up. We have so much going on right now! We are in the process of planning 1/2 birthdays, graduations, bridal showers(plus a wedding), trips to Vegas, yard sales...the list continues. Nobody can ever accuse the ZPO's of not staying busy!
After a little while we headed inside for Chinese, more laughter and conversation, plus the season finale of Cheerleader Nation...don't deny it, everyone loves it! After dinner it was back outside for more laughs and conversation. This is when...in what can only be described as a very cruel optical illusion...Rhiannon slammed into a closed screen door. That's right my friends. She hit it so hard it actually took the skin off her nose and arm!! Oh, poor Rhi.
Later we headed back in for coffee and desert. Charing made a wonderful peach cobbler and a chocolate pie...she spoils us! Somehow I did not snap a picture of Morgan ,but she was hanging out with us all for this months meeting (come to think of it, I didn't do well with the pictures at all...Charing is only in the group pic, plus it looks like I took them all in about ten minutes and never thought of the camera again...sorry!). We loved having Morgan there, and she is always welcome to come be the junior ZPO member! All in all it was a perfect night and a perfect meeting!

Thanks Boo!
Boo, being the greatest ever, was nice enough to come with Nick and I to Richmond last night to take our engagement pictures. We really wanted Ellie to be in some of the pic's, but knew we needed someone to walk her around and keep her out of the way during the pictures that she was not involved in(seeing as how she thought we were all just there to see her and why would she not be in EVERY picture...as a matter of fact, screw the camera and play with me!!!). Missy, also being the greatest, was going to go with us until our pictures were rescheduled for a day she had to work. Anyways, it was really nice of Boo to take the time out of her crazy schedule to help us out so we could get a couple of shots with the baby girl. Thanks Boo!
A total side note, but this is the 100th post of the ZPO site! Amazing, right?!? Anyways, I will see all the girls tonight, and will have engagement pictures to show everyone in a couple of weeks!

Bridesmaids Fittings
A couple of weeks ago most of my bridesmaids headed down to Bella Rose for their Bridesmaids dress fittings. Wes was sick, so Liz went the next week, plus Nancy was not in town, but the rest of the girls went, and we all had a blast!
First off, Bella Rose has some of the greatest clothes EVER! We looked around for a bit upstairs, then headed down to the bridal department. They had a ton of food and champagne punch for us. It was so nice! All the girls got sized...then some were sized again. Bridesmaid dresses are so insane with their sizing. In the end it all was worked out and the dresses will be beautiful(by the way, they are cream in these pic's, but will be brown in real life)!
After the fittings were done, we headed over to Joe Balogna's for dinner (except Rhi who had to much work to do). We sat around laughing and talking forever. It was such a great night, and the best way to ever do something as annoying as dress fittings!

April Meeting is Coming!
Well, I know you are all thinking it is about time I posted something! I have been really busy, and have gotten a little behind. Sorry! I will be catching up soon!
Now, to the point of this post.... our April meeting is scheduled! I am sure some of you were thinking we might be skipping this month, but we are sliding it in right under the wire. The ZPO's need an evening to lounging around and relax, so that is what we are going to do! This Friday we are all meeting at Charing's around seven for food, drinks and great company. Our sweet boy's will be there, not to mention all seven ZPO's! Now that is really rare! I am sure there will be tons of pictures and a great post about it next week (or knowing my rate of posts, sometime in the next month)I cannot wait to see everyone and catch up!

A Sick Boy, Plus Visitors
Well, I have a great post to do about our bridesmaids dress fittings for my wedding, but that will have to wait for me to get pictures from Laura. I know it will be hard, but you will have to wait for details!
I decided to instead post on the fact that baby Wes is sick! It is so sad, and we just hate that he feels bad. He has gotten a double ear infection, and you just know it must be painful. He is such a great little boy and he is fighting it like a champ! He is having a hard time getting back to normal, but we hope he will be back to himself in the next day or two!!
This weekend (what with it being Easter and everything) has brought a lot of ZPO family to town. Liz and Cory have Jake and Emily in town for the holiday, plus Charing has Chrissy and Creig and their family in. One of my best friends Nancy is also in town, and it is so great! It is always so wonderful to spend time with out of town friends and family and I know everyone is having a blast!
On a totally different note, I wanted to say congratulations to Missy for getting three A's on her first three tests! Missy, we are all so proud of how hard you are working in school. We know it is hard, but it will be worth it in the end. We love you!!
Another congrat's goes to Rhi for getting her portfolios done! I know we will never truly understand, but we are so proud of you for all the hard work and for making it through!!

Nick and Chris's Birthday!
Last Saturday we celebrated Nick and Chris's birthdays at BW3's. As always, the ZPO's came out in full support of the celebration! Charing, unfortunately was in New York, so she could not attend, and Missy was working, but the rest of us had a blast. The food was okay according to all the girls, but heavenly according to all the boys. I guess that is just the way with wings! We all ate, drank and had a really wonderful time!
After dinner some of us headed over to Boo and Chris's to continue the party. Liz and Cory had Wes with them, so they headed home, but Candice was able to meet up with us and join in the celebration. We got a little addicted to Mario Party and the enxt thing we knew it was 2am...now that's a good party!

Congratulations!!
I am so happy to tell everyone that Liz got a promotion at work last week! This is so huge for her. She has been working so hard for two years for her company, and now they are really recognizing how much she does and how great she is by promoting her to graphic design specialist! Liz, we all know how hard you work and how much you love your job. We could not be happier about this wonderful recognition! Congratulations!!!

Poor Boo!
Our dear sweet little Boo had quite the scare on Sunday night! She had not been feeling well all day, but didn't think to much of it. She was at Mom and Dad's when she spit into the sink and saw only blood. The family took her to the ER, and they realized she had an open artery or vein in her throat that was just pumping blood into her stomach!! Thats right. It is sick but true. Anyways, they were getting ready to take her into surgery (mind you it is one in the morning) and all of a sudden the color drained from her face, her lips turned blue and she went into shock. It was so scary. I will cut down on all the dirty details, but all the blood came back out of her stomach, and they basically rushed her into surgery.
Chris stayed with her over night in the hospital, and by lunch she was looking much better (which you can all see because Liz is the coolest and apparently carries a camera with her everywhere! I guess that is what having a baby will do to you!!) She got to go home later in the day on Monday, and is now basically starting recovery all over. As of this morning, she was okay, but felt as if she had been hit by a truck. No fun at all!
I guess when trouble rains it pours...FedEx also managed to lose her National Boards box. Thats right. A years worth of work and a ton of money, lost in transit. There were a couple of panicked days, but our trusty Rhiannon found out that as long as she has a receipt and a tracking number saying it was supposed to be on time, they will still accept it. They finally found the box today, so I guess it will be a little late, but no worse for wear!
Boo, we were all so worried about you, and are so glad you are feeling better! Here is hoping your luck is about to turn around! We love you!

Today is the day that our sweet little Carter is getting Christened. All of the ZPO's so wish we could be there! The family went to New York for the Christening, and at the same time Charing's sister will be Christening her daughter Scarlet. Carter's Godparents are going to be Charing's sister Dara and Scott's brother Creig. I am sure they will have a wonderful time and we will have pictures and details when the family gets back from there trip!
And now...a photo montage of the last five months! Baby boy, you warm our hearts. We cannot wait for you to come home!

Starting School!!
I am so proud and excited to let everyone know that our little Missy has started school! She started last Monday (man, I really am a little backed up with the posting!) and she really seems to be doing great and enjoying it. Her classes are from 10-3 four days a week...can't beat that! Her degree will be in computer programming, but this semester she is taking mostly prereq's. Missy, we are all so excited for you! Good Luck!!
