Our dear sweet little Boo had quite the scare on Sunday night! She had not been feeling well all day, but didn't think to much of it. She was at Mom and Dad's when she spit into the sink and saw only blood. The family took her to the ER, and they realized she had an open artery or vein in her throat that was just pumping blood into her stomach!! Thats right. It is sick but true. Anyways, they were getting ready to take her into surgery (mind you it is one in the morning) and all of a sudden the color drained from her face, her lips turned blue and she went into shock. It was so scary. I will cut down on all the dirty details, but all the blood came back out of her stomach, and they basically rushed her into surgery.
Chris stayed with her over night in the hospital, and by lunch she was looking much better (which you can all see because Liz is the coolest and apparently carries a camera with her everywhere! I guess that is what having a baby will do to you!!) She got to go home later in the day on Monday, and is now basically starting recovery all over. As of this morning, she was okay, but felt as if she had been hit by a truck. No fun at all!
I guess when trouble rains it pours...FedEx also managed to lose her National Boards box. Thats right. A years worth of work and a ton of money, lost in transit. There were a couple of panicked days, but our trusty Rhiannon found out that as long as she has a receipt and a tracking number saying it was supposed to be on time, they will still accept it. They finally found the box today, so I guess it will be a little late, but no worse for wear!
Boo, we were all so worried about you, and are so glad you are feeling better! Here is hoping your luck is about to turn around! We love you!
