Vacations!

So we all know that I have kind of sucked at updating ZPO as of late, so I am doing one big Vacation post!

Rhi and Travis just got back from Florida with her family this week. Rhi, we missed you and are so happy you had such a great time!

Charing and Boo are both leaving on Family vacation today. Charing will be with the family in New York while Boo and Chris will be with Chris's family in Hilton Head. I am sure you all will have a great time! We will miss you and can't wait to see you in a week!

Next weekend Candice is heading down to Florida with Davis and his family. We will miss you guys at the 4th of July Bash, but I am sure the beach is a good trade! Have fun!

Me, Liz and Missy are going nowhere. How sad is that? Doesn't really seem right, does it?

Missy Turns The Big 2-5!

Our sweet little Missy has just had a birthday! Amazing but true, she is now twenty five! To celebrate a large group of us (Liz and Cory couldn't make it, but the rest of the ZPO's were there!) went downtown and had an amazing dinner on the patio at Dudley's. Seriously...the food was slammin'! After dinner we headed out for drinks and dancing at Salattos. Everyone had such a great night. It was the perfect way to celebrate your big day! Happy Birthday baby girl! I am sorry this is a bit late, but we all love you so much!!

May's Meeting

I do realize it is now June, and I am sure all of our fans figured we had totally forsaken ZPO. This is not true...I have just totally forsaken the ZPO website! I do still have plans of handing over the reigns to Charing, but for now it is still my fault the posting has not been happening!

So, a couple of weekends ago we had our first ZPO night out in quite some time. We have actually changed up the ZPO planning a bit. We are now each taking turns planning a month. We set our date, someone takes charge, and whoever can come will come. This month was really a very small group due to the fact that we had it on Memorial Day weekend and lots of people had family and friends in town. Anyway, Boo (who was doing the planning), me, Charing and Candice all headed down for a wonderful night of dinner and drinks on the patio at Atomic Cafe.

We had such a wonderful time! Our food was wonderful, our drinks would have been awesome had they not tried to kill me by spiking my drink with NASTY NASTY BANANA Liquor. How could they?!?! Boo told us all about her IVF plans. She has a new personal blog about the entire process. Take a look at her new site
Optimistically Waiting and keep up with their process while giving her tons of love and support! (Boo-we all love you and are so excited for you and behind you all 100%!!)Anyway, the band was great, the conversation was great, the weather was perfect...all in all it was a perfect night out with the girls!

***In case you haven't noticed, the ZPO site has undergone a serious face lift. Liz used her mad skills to come up with a new picture for the site, so I worked with it to come up with our new look. Hope you all like it!***

Happy Mother's Day!

Just one day late...not to bad at all! Happy Mother's Day ZPO mom's and all mom's of ZPO's! I hope everyone had a perfect day full of love and pampering and perfect angelic children! No doubt about it...the ZPO's are a very lucky group of girls with all of our perfect mama's. We love you all so much!

Graduation!

I am so proud to report that in only one years time our sweet Candice has graduated from UK with her masters degree!! She has taken a job and everything, so basically life is working out perfectly. In order to celebrate all the ZPO's (minus Liz who was fighting off mono and had to stay home) along with our guys and some other friends headed out to Main Street Live for the night. There was way to much drinking and dancing going on...especially for this girl, who had to make it to the actual graduation the next morning! Anyways, the entire night was wonderful. I think we all really loved the night out. Candice, we are all really proud of you and very happy to help you celebrate!

On a different note...sorry I have been gone for the past month. I have not been coming home for lunch lately, and when I have time to post, I usually am getting something up on Bio Girl....so that being said, I think I am going to be handing over the reigns of ZPO here shortly. I am VERY excited to tell you that Charing will be in charge of the day to day postings and updates around here. How great, right!

On a second different note, Liz has been working on a new picture for our site. She finished it today and let me tell you, it is really great! I will be working on building the rest of the site around the new picture, and should have our new look up within the next week!

Happy Easter!!

Just wanted to get a quick post up to say I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend full of tons of chocolate and tons of family...no doubt that worked out for most of us. It has been a little wild what with Charing having nine kids at her house and Boo having Natalia for the weekend. We had a VERY late cold spell and even ended up with some snow on the ground. Definently made for a cold Easter egg hunt, but we take what we can get! Anyways, hope you all had a great Easter!

Out to Lunch

So, I suck a little. I am so sorry it has taken me so long to get this post up. I have no good reason...not waiting on pictures...not waiting to get all the details...I just never made the time...until now!

A couple of weeks ago the ZPO's all got together for Lunch at the Nagasaki Inn. Oh lord this place is so good! Liz was not able to make it because her inlaws were in town, plus they had stuff to do with the house. All the other girls were there and it was really nice to all be out together. There were plenty of very interesting stories told (esp. thanks to Candice) lots of laughing and catching up.

After we had our lunch we headed over to Candice's apartment which is right around the corner. Her place is seriously adorable! Candice, you have really turned it into a home. I love it! We sat around there and laughed some more. Anyways, that was basically our day. It was great!

***Now, here is a list of things that should have been posted on ZPO when they happened but I didn't get them up here***

Candice-have a great time in Florida! Be careful. We will miss you, but hope you have a blast!

Candice- Welcome home from Florida! We missed you!

Boo, Rhi, Charing, Candice, Missy and Morgan-Enjoy spring break! I am thinking Liz and I got the raw end of the deal here....

Liz-congrat's on the new car. It is awesome!

Missy- We are so proud of you for making the Dean's List! You are doing so great in school!
*****************
Okay, that is all I can think of for now. I promise to do better keeping up with our ZPO site. Sorry!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day ZPO! I hope you all are wearing your green and eating lots of green food this evening...what's that? Not everyone uses an entire bottle of green food coloring for St. Patrick's Day dinner...then you don't know how to eat !!

I wanted to give everyone a quick update on Marty. He and Charing (Charing's mom Charing) flew out to New York last weekend. There was a surgeon there who was able to do the surgery. There are very few doctors in the US who are do this procedure, so it was great there was someone in New York City where their family is.

He had the surgery on Tuesday and came out perfect! Needless to say when you operate on the main artery leading to the brain the risks are high, but he sailed through. He was in ICU for a couple of days and is now released from the hospital. They are heading home from NY in a couple of days! We are all so excited that everything worked out so well! Marty, we all love you and can't wait for you to come home!!

Get Well Soon!

Our junior member is heading under the knife! Little sweet Morgan is going in to get her tonsils taken out tomorrow morning. Morgan, you are going to fit right in with the rest of the ZPO's...I am thinking over half the group have had theirs removed as well! We all hope you are back up and running as soon as possible. Until then, enjoy the time off school and all the ice cream and soft food you can handle!

Dinner at Liz's New House!

We had our February meeting back a couple of weeks ago (sorry this post is a little late!). Liz had all of us over for dinner at her and Cory's new house! The house if full of so many memories because they bought it from our parents. They have done such a wonderful job of decorating it and it looks so great! It is funny to be in a new home that already feel so comfortable!

Liz made a great dinner for everyone. We had salad and lasagna which were both wonderful! She also made this really great coffee cake, so all in all the food was just about perfect! All the girls were there except for Missy, who has to work weekend nights due to school. Missy, we will have a lunch ZPO soon! We missed you!!

The night was really perfect. We sat around talking and laughing, watching old videos and telling stories. After Charing warned us to watch our glasses due to Carter, she did managed to spill her own! The funniest part was her scream! Thank God Liz and Cory have hard wood. No damage done! All in all it was a great night with the girls. Liz, thanks so much for having us all over. It was great!
